Kad sam podijelila svoj strah sa mamom i svojom najboljom prijateljicom, odmah mi je laknulo. Jako je važno da se ne suočite sa rakom dojke sami – budite otvoreni i iskreni sa onima koji vas vole, jer će vam biti potrebna njihova podrška.”

'At the time of my breast cancer scare I kept my fears to myself. I was trying to be brave, and I went to my ppointments alone, but that only made the problem bigger in my head. When I shared it with my mum and my best friend I felt immediately relieved.It’s important that you don’t face breast cancer alone – be open and honest with those that care for you, because you will need their support.’

If you have any breast health concerns don’t delay in getting yourself checked out: go immediately to your doctor. Women by their very nature are reluctant to put themselves first, but when it comes to your health you have to!
